Preservation Month 2024: People Saving Places

May is National Preservation Month, and following the National Trust's lead, we'll also be celebrating "People Saving Places" to mark the occasion! Meet the couple inspiring countless others to rescue cheap old houses; learn about the workforce training program providing young people with trades skills and restoring monuments in two historic NYC cemeteries; discover the grassroots team behind the restoration effort of a historically Black church in Watertown; meet the man who literally wrote the book about historic wood windows; and get to know the couple who transformed a 250-year-old house in the Hudson Valley into a restaurant and community gathering place.
