Hosted by Cornell Cooperative Extension + Suffolk County | A free online event!
Central Park, Prospect Park and many others across the United States are enjoyed today because of the way Frederick Law Olmsted designed them. He believed in nature as an elixir for the stress of urban life. He also advocated for free access for all people regardless of class or circumstance. Discover trademarks of Olmsted’s design in Boston’s Emerald Necklace, Central Park, Prospect Park and the Bayard Cutting Arboretum.
Speaker: Dr. Roxanne Zimmer, Cornell Cooperative Extension, Suffolk County, NY
