Learn about the NYS Commercial Historic Tax Credit Program. This 20% tax credit for rehabilitation expenses for eligible commercial properties is used in combination with the federal historic tax credit program (20%), can provide a total of 40% in historic tax credits to rehabilitate commercial properties. See the positive impact on community revitalization and economic development that historic preservation can create in communities.
