It’s a dream-come-true tour:  no lines, no parking issues, no weather problems, and no shoe covers or masks needed!

The Landmark Society’s 50th Anniversary House & Garden Tour will take the format of a narrated video tour:  you will be able to purchase an electronic “ticket” to access the tour on a date and time of your choice between Friday October 9 and Sunday October 18. You can enjoy the tour from the comfort of your favorite computer, laptop, or phone. You will be able to enjoy the tour in one sitting, or in smaller segments during the tour time period.

Since it’s a virtual tour, we don’t have to stick to one neighborhood: you’ll be invited inside for virtual tours of a spectacular early 20th century home in Brighton; a historic picturesque farmhouse near Brockport; a 184-year-old elegant Rochester mansion; a trendy mid-century modern dwelling; and more! We look forward to sharing amazing city homes, fine country houses and a few surprises from our western New York region.

You’ll also receive a link to a tour program with history and architecture notes to read online or print out and peruse. Additional tour enhancements will be announced mid-September.
