Join the Parrish for a panel discussion in conjunction with James Brooks: A Painting Is a Real Thing, delving into the artist’s work, with special focus on the life he shared with Charlotte Park, their Springs studio, practice, and evolution. Organized in collaboration with the Brooks-Park Arts and Nature Center, the conversation will include Dr. Klaus Ottmann, Adjunct Curator of the Collection and guest curator for the exhibition, and artist Mike Solomon, who contributed an essay to the exhibition’s accompanying catalogue.
