Christopher Gray's Office of Metropolitan History is a repository and resource on the architectural history of New York City buildings. Sam Hightower, building detective and the Director of the OMH presents a special event for all fans of NYC architectural history, beginning with a rare insider’s virtual view of some of the OMH’s archive of 19th c. photographs. Hightower then walks us through the research behind some of Gray’s iconic New York Times “Streetscapes” columns, revisits Gray’s writing and research and highlights gems in the OMH archives.
