Untapped New York: TWA Hotel

The League is excited to partner with Untapped New York to host a series of in-person tours showcasing former Seven to Save sites.

The tour of the TWA Hotel will be conducted by Chris Betz and Michael McEnery from the property’s guest relations department. The tour will cover the history of TWA and the creation of the historic Flight Center, accompanied by relevant information, anecdotes, and historical facts from the 1960s to offer context.

Discover the history of TWA and the creation of the historic Flight Center, 

  • Visit the renowned Sunken Lounge

  • Walk through the iconic Flight Tubes to recreations of a 1962 Living Room and Eero Saarinen’s Design Studio

  • See the purpose-built Event Center, which features TWA memorabilia, vintage uniforms, and original posters by David Klein

  • Peek inside a 1958 Lockheed Constellation “Connie” airplane turned cocktail lounge
