May is Preservation Month, and this year's theme is one we are especially excited about. In honor of the National Trust's effort to spotlight "People Saving Places," we've put together this page full of stories about the people behind preservation projects across the state. From grassroots efforts in the Adirondacks to interdisciplinary coalitions on Long Island, the League is proud to have so many people in our orbit who are committed to saving places that matter.
