Historic Highland Park Walking Tour

  • Highland Park 180 Reservoir Avenue Rochester, NY, 14620 United States (map)

Join Highland Park Conservancy and the Preservation League of NYS for a tour through the jewel of Rochester’s park system. This event is part of the year-long Olmsted200 campaign, a nationwide bicentennial birthday celebration of the democratic values and enduring influence of visionary American landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted. This tour will guide you through highlights of Highland Park and include updates on two major projects currently underway: the reconstruction of the Olmsted-designed Children’s Pavilion, and the potential historic district designations for the neighborhoods surrounding the park. This event is free and open to the public!

This event will take place outside. Please wear comfortable shoes and be prepared to walk up to 2 miles with some uphill.
