Historic Tax Credits for Homeowners: Central New York

Learn how the 20% NYS Historic Homeownership Rehabilitation Tax Credit Program can help you save money on repairs and upgrades to your home. This 1-hour webinar will provide an introduction to the program, including eligibility requirements, what work qualifies for tax credits, the application process, examples of successful projects, and plenty of time for Q&A.

Who should attend?
Realtors, architects, planners, homeowners, building owners, business owners, community leaders, contractors, and anyone who wants to learn how the NYS Historic Homeownership Rehabilitation Tax Credit program can help owners of eligible residential properties save money on repairs to their homes!

This webinar is open to all but is specifically geared to homeowners in qualifying National Register historic districts in Central New York. The same information about the homeowner tax credit program will be presented at a series of webinars, along with additional information specific to each region or community. If you can’t make the webinar for your region or you don’t see your region listed, you are welcome to attend any webinar. Click here to see the full lineup of upcoming HTC webinars.

This webinar is presented by the Preservation League, Preservation Studios, and the NY State Historic Preservation Office, in collaboration with Preservation Association of CNY.

The Preservation League is pleased to offer 1 CE credit for architects through the NYS Department of Education for participation in this webinar. Certificates of completion will be provided for each architect's individual records and reporting procedures for maintaining licensure.
